Vieux Carr

Vieux Carr
First mixed in the mid-1930s by Walter Bergeron at New Orleans Hotel Monteleone, it is certainly the celebration of New Orleans culture and heritage. "Vieux Carr" translates to "Old Square," one of the early French terms for the area now known as the French Quarter.

Ingredients:

The Vieux Carr is New Orleans contribution to the Manhattan family. With a wheated Rye Whiskey, Cognac, Benedictine, and Peychaud's bitters, the NOLA heritage is well represented in the ingredient list.
